Dankook University warmly welcomes international students from our partner universities around the world. Through our exchange, visiting, and dual degree programs, students can immerse themselves in Korea’s academic and cultural environment while earning credits toward their degree.

Academic Calendar

Dankook’s academic year consists of two 16-week semesters: Spring (March–June) and Fall (September–December).

Eligibility

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student at their home university
  • Have completed at least one semester prior to application
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.5 (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate English or Korean language proficiency
  • Be in good physical and mental health
  • Students are expected to secure health insurance covering their stay in Korea and ensure financial stability throughout the program.

Nomination & Application

Partner universities are invited to nominate eligible students during the following periods:

Nomination Period September 1 – October 30 March 1 – April 30
Application Deadline November 15 May 15
  • Nominations must be submitted by the home university’s exchange coordinator and include the student’s full name, email address, study period, and field of study.
  • Students from non-partner institutions may apply as visiting students by directly contacting us via email before the deadline.

Exchange and visiting students can take courses in various departments, including:

  • Chemical, Polymer and Mobile Systems Engineering
  • Liberal Arts
  • Intensive Korean Language

Note:
• English-taught courses are available only at Jukjeon Campus. Cheonan Campus does not offer English-medium courses.
• The full course list for each semester is released about one month before classes begin.
