Intensive Korean Language Education for International Students

  • International Korean Track students entering Dankook University will study at the School of Global Core Education for one year (1st & 2nd semesters).

 Dankook University's Jukjeon Campus is just 30 minutes from Seoul's Gangnam district, providing a balance of city life and campus serenity. The Cheonan Campus is also conveniently located in a key transportation hub, offering easy access for students.

Common Eligibility Requirements for Freshman and Transfer Applicants

  • Applicants must have completed the entire 12-year primary and secondary education curriculum outside of Korea or in Korea as a foreigner, and both the applicant and their parents must be non-Korean citizens.
  • Korean Track (Freshman Admission)
    - Applicants must hold a TOPIK Level 3 or higher, or be eligible to take the Dankook University Korean Language Proficiency Test if they do not have a TOPIK score.
  • Korean Track (Transfer Admission)
    - Applicants must hold a TOPIK Level 3 or higher.
  • English Track
    - Applicants must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher or a TOEFL iBT score of 71 or higher.
