Korean swimming hero Park Taehwan (Sports Education, 4th year) visited Dankook University on the 3rd to express his gratitude towards President Jang, Hosung and others who supported him in the latest World Championship.
In this day's reception, President Jang Hosung, Jukjeon Campus Vice-President Jang Jaechul, External Cooperation Office Vice President Kim Byunglyang, Sports Chairperson Kang Shinwook, and Park and his parents were present along with the student cheering squad that had supported Taehwan in Beijing. President Jang congratulated Park's accomplishments in winning the gold medal at the 400-meter freestyle and elevating Dankook's status.
Park commented that "Dankook supported me very much during the competition, and I will continue to strive to honor my university".
7 students from the cheering squad that had gone all the way to cheer Park in Shanghai were also present, and Park thanked them especially.
