Jukjeon Campus Overseas Volunteer Team successfully accomplishes volunteer work in Cambodia
Carried out various volunteer work, such as visiting multicultural families

The Jukjeon Campus Overseas Volunteer Team sent 118 volunteers to Cambodia over two periods since last June. The first group consisted of 58 volunteers working from June 26th to July 4th, and the second consisted of 60 people working from July 17th to July 25th.

The volunteers visited 왓츠베이와 프레이 elementary school near 시엠립 in Cambodia, in order to participate in various educational service work and to improve the local educational environment. They also organized Cambodian expatriate 팔셉나's (26) visit to her home in Cambodia, in light of recently increasing multicultural families in Korea.

Student Council president Choi Minseok, who organized the volunteering event, commented that it was "an opportunity for students to renew their spirits of giving back to society, and carry out the school spirit of Truth and Service".
