Helping farmers for 7 days from June 21st
42 volunteer students sent

As summer vacation approached, students visited a farming village that lacks workers to practice the act of giving. 42 students of the DKU Farming Village Volunteer Group, which is arranged by social volunteer group administrators of Cheonan Campus, embarked on a volunteer activity for 7 days from June 21st. The volunteer group set up camp in Solmadang Village, Injimyeon, Chungnam Province and actively performed various activities, such as helping with nearby farm work, wall painting, and improving the general environment for villagers.

“Students are being a great help as villagers here are suffering from drought and lack of manpower,” said Solmadang Village Mayor Jinyeop Choi. “I want to thank the young students who kept on smiling even when they worked in hot weather sweating.”
