Introduction
B.A. Seoul National University; M.A. & Ph. D Seoul National University. Doctoral Thesis [A Study of Novelistic Fuction of Charles Dickens's Style](1994) Taught at Gwangju University and joined the Dankook Faculty in 1996. Research and teaching span from the 19th century English literature, Prose Fiction in English to contemporary culture. Published articles on Charles Dickens, Aphra Behn, Oscar Wilde, Joseph Conrad, J. R.R. Tolkien, Chick Lit. and Contemporary Korean Films. Translated the works by James Joyce, Franco Moretti, Raymond Williams. New projects on the comprative study of the 19th century English literature and modern cultural industry.
