Introduction

After graduating from Sunhwa Arts High School and Hanyang University, he returned to the United States to earn a master’s degree at Queens College at City of University of New York, and studied trombone doctoral course at The University of Kansas. was awarded
While studying abroad, he has grown up through numerous performances at Carnegie Hall (New York), Lincoln Center (New York), Symphony Space Hall (New York), Kaufman Concert Hall (New York), and Kauffman Center (Kansas City). In particular, the 10th anniversary concert on September 11, 2011 was successfully held at The Riverside Church. In addition, he recorded three Wind ensemble performances (OF SHADOW AND LIGHT, Concerto for Orchestra, In the shadow of No Towers) for the world record label Naxos in 2013, 2014, and 2016, and his trombone at Graceland University and Haskell Indian Nations University in 2014. He had masterclasses and concerts with the ensemble team Kansas Trombone Quartet. In 2014, I was invited to the world-class festival Eutiner Festspiele held every year in Eutin, Germany, and learned about European emotions and musical elements while working with members of the Hamburg Orchestra. In June 2016, he had a successful debut recital at the Carnegie Weil Recital Hall and received a lot of favorable reviews, and his performances were even published in the American newspaper Hankook Ilbo and JoongAng Ilbo newspapers.
He was also invited to the Conservatorio di Milano that year, where he performed two concerts. He worked as a guest performer at the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and as a principal performer at the Lawrence Community Orchestra. After returning to Korea, he successfully held a home recital in August 2016. In 2021, he performed as a guest principal at the Dangjin Arts Center Small Theater Recital, Dangjin Wind Orchestra, Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra, Korean Chamber Orchestra (formerly Baroque Chamber Orchestra), Jeonju Symphony Orchestra, and Chuncheon Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also interested in arranging, so he signed a contract with Cherry Classic Music (ITF-signed publisher) to publish Mozart Requiem Selections for Trombone Quartet in 2014 and A. Marcello Concert in C minor in 2016. will do He has also performed with various trombone players, including Nitzan Haroz (Principal trombone at Philadelphia), Shachar Israel (Assistant Principal trombone at Cleveland orchestra), David Taylor (Bass trombone, New York City recording artist), and Steve Norrell (Bass trombone at Metropolitan Opera Orchestra). He studied and learned how to play trombone in various styles. He participated in two ITF (International Trombone Festivals) in 2013 and 2016, and learned the technique of endless research and trombone playing.
He taught at Sunhwa Arts High School, Chungnam Arts High School, and Jeju National University.
He studied with Yoo Junsik, Kwon Deokhoe, Haim Avitsur, and Dr.Michael Davidson.
