Introduction

Dr. Kang was born in 1955 in Seoul, Korea. He graduated Paichai High school, and earned his Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees at Seoul National University(SNU). He majored in sociology of sport under the guidance of Dr. Burn-Jang Lim of SNU, and has academic interests in making institutional sports and leisure sport activities substantial. In 1981, Dr. Kang finished his military service as an ROTC officer. Afterward, he worked for Jeon-Nong Women’s High school and Yong-San High school for six years as a P. E. teacher. Dr. Kang also served the Dept. of Physical Education at SNU as a teaching assistant, and later he began working for DanKook University since 1989 as a faculty member. He has been involved in affluent social voluntary services in academic circles (for more info., please see the below). At DanKook University, he teaches principles of physical education, methodologies in P.E., and instruction manuals of sport activity classes, and tennis. Individually, he regards himself as a tennis fan and seeks for a life in which he can hang out with people who have faithful mind.
