Cooperation agreement establishment for improving oral health for the disabled, Jook-Jun dental hospital Jook-Jun dental hospital in the dental college (the director of hospital, Eun Suk Kim) established an agreement of cooperation for improving oral health in the region. Dankook University, a team led by professor Jun Yeop Lee, has announced on international academic journal, “advanced materials,” in the field of materials Embody at most 25.5% of the luminous efficiency. Known as AMOLED, organic light emitting diode (OLED), the display for next generation, is developed with the highest efficiency of blue colored elements by a team led by professor Jun-Yeop Lee in Dankook University. In general, OLED displays consist of red, green, and blue luminous elements for display devices. So far, red and green luminous elements have been developing high efficiency elements with more than 20% of quantum efficiency, while blue colored elements have lower than 10% of efficiency, having a serious difficulty regarding an increase of consumed electricity. In order to improve it, there has been many of research going on so far, while efficiency enhancement for blue colored elements still stays as problem. In order to solve efficiency problem of blue colored elements, a team led by professor Jun Yeop Lee in Dankook University, proceeding a research regarding a new luminous blue colored materials, developing 18.4 quantum efficiency by significantly enhancing efficiency of previous element followed by using a new materials after improving structures of previous elements, and finally developed a new blue colored elements with the highest efficiency in the world. Even though there was no such a report that dark blue colored luminous elements with color characteristics with applicable into display devices are said to have no more than 20% of efficiency, a team led by professor Jun Yeop Lee overcame this, developing a blue colored elements with 25.4% of efficiency , which is the best in the world. Especially, based on the fact that previous elements show a lower efficiency in the luminance range compared to the max efficiency that they have, there was an enhancement in terms of application with new elements, establishing more than 20% of efficiency in the luminance range and unique characteristics of blue colored elements that are applicable to products. This research expects AMOLED, currently applicable to smart phone, to lower its consumers electricity in a significant level, contributing to an enhancement of consumed electricity of OLED TV for the future reference. In addition, it is expected for AMOED to serve as a role of bridge connecting localization of OLED materials and acquisition of competitiveness in the field of OLED industry. Especially, the research results of this team led by professor Jun Yeop Lee is acknowledged by one of the best academic journal, “Advanced Materials,” on the 10th, February as a part of news on internet flash boards. The college dean, Ho-Sung Chang, said that “internationalization of colleges is focused to have practical exchanges.” Based on this, Dankook University promotes globalization for colleges in an active and practical manner. Establishment of sisterhood with 44 colleges and institutions in 2010, strengthening for international cooperation. Dankook University has established sisterhood with 170 different colleges and institutions in 34 different nations in the world. Among those, there are 44 different schools and institutions from 14 different nations that are established sisterhood with Dankook University in 2010. The college dean, Ho Sung Chang, went to abroad such as America and China, trying his best to have cooperation relationship with colleges. Especially, he visited America with dance troupes consisting of 40 members, letting them know superiority of our traditional cultures. Based on this, he could establish MOU with other colleges and institutions, deriving pride and dignity for Korean residents in America. Variety of companies with sisterhood with Dankook University gets diversified, expanding the range to the third world such as Uzbekistan, Peru, Czech Republic, Netherland, and Cambodia, middle Asia, and Europe. Especially, Dankook University establishes cooperation relationship not only with colleges but also with nations, college of department, and research institutes. The main content is related to proceeding lectures for some of the classes by inviting professors from Dankook University for materials science and bioprocess majors in Yun Tae University in China. In addition, the core technologies in the future such as mobile web, mobile security, cloud computing, and smart greed industry are to be developed, cultivating R/D research center in domestic/abroad, security tower center, clouding computer S/W center in an international level, and finally contributing to competitiveness of capture and control the places for globalized related industry via establishment of professional manpower related to mobile integration and activities for supporting youth employment. Realization of mobile service with the highest level of colleges in the nation Providing a wide range of college information such as mobile web and SNS Mobile web service that our university currently provides turned out to be the best among colleges in the whole nation.
