Dankook University Startup Support Foundation held the 2nd ‘DKU Demo Day“

Dankook University Startup Support Foundation opened its 2nd ‘DKU Demo Day’ at the Concert Hall, Humanities Building on December 1, in order to help out young entrepreneurs to successfully settle in.

The 2nd ‘DKU Demo Day’ was organized for infant startup companies to give demonstrations of their prototypes before they launch their complete products. The event was attended by 30 entrepreneurs and startup companies who were selected to participate in the foundation-led programs, the 2015 Startup Commercialization Program and the Follow-up Support Program.

The various demonstrations displayed at the event included a security system technology that protects authentication certificate from theft, an IoT-based ventilation control system, coffee related materials and products presented by the winner of 2014 Barista Championship, and metal ceramic products displayed by a prolific patent owner who obtained three patents in one year.

The DKU Startup Support Foundation helps these infant startups to successfully launch their products through providing them with professional mentoring service and matching appropriate investors. The foundation will have a presentation to announce the outcomes of the foundation-led programs and find improvements.
