Dankook University held a culture festival for international students ahead of Thanksgiving Day.
The DKU Thanksgiving Day Festival for International Students was held on 23rd of September at the Jukjeon campus and the 24th at the Cheonan campus respectively. The festival was designed to celebrate and provide a better understanding of Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving Day, and showcase its various cultural and traditional events.
Nearly 500 international students participated in the festival at both campuses and enjoyed traditional culture activities that includes having a memorial ceremony for ancestors, experience of wearing of Hanbok, and cooking Korean traditional food such as Pajeon, Kimchijeon and Makgeolli.
