Dankook ranked first in the category of manpower cultivation at the ‘2014 Best Practice Competition for Industry-Academic Cooperation.’

The Dankook LINC business group was awarded the Minister of Education Prize in the ‘2014 Best Practice Competition for Industry-Academic Cooperation’ as the best group in the category of manpower cultivation. Dankook University won the award for trying to cultivate manpower through the establishment of the industry-academic integrated educational program. The awards ceremony was hosted by the ‘2014 Industry-Academic EXPO’ held at the COEX on October 15th.

Dankook introduced an industry-academic integrated talent cultivation program, in which many industrial companies were involved, that executes customized training education for students to be eligible to work immediately after graduation. DKU not only regularly integrates the results from surveys of industry and enrolled students into the curriculum of the training program, but also stimulates overseas internship programs to enhance students’ global competitiveness. As an exemplar, the so called ‘Seedbed talent cultivation program’ guarantees the quality of education through a customized training program in cooperation with some of the industrial companies.
