Introduction
Prof. Lee Sang-beom received his Ph.D. at Yonsei University in Computer Engineering and became part of the Dankook University Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1979. He has served in a number of important administrative positions at the university, such as Director of Faculty Affairs and Director of Faculty Research, and he has held visiting professorships at the University of Iowa and San Jose State University. His current research focuses on developing parts for SOC using recognition algorithms, and he presents as a guest lecture onDigital Logic Circuitry, Image Processing, Computer Architecture and Micro Processors. He is currently the chairman of the Korea Information Processing Society.
