교수소개
본인은 서울대학교 약학대학에서 학사학위를 취득하고 동대학원에 진학하여 palladium 촉매를 이용한 carbocycle의 선택적 합성법에 대한 연구를 석사 과정 중에 수행하였다. 석사 학위 취득 후 (주) 대웅제약 중앙연구소 공정개발 연구팀에서 의약품 원료의 신규합성법 개발 및 최적화 연구를 수행하였다. 서울대학교 약학대학원에 박사과정에 진학하여 amyloid-beta clearance 조절 기전의 알츠하이머 병 치료제 개발 연구를 수행하였다.
현재 주요 연구분야는 다음과 같다.
1. 전이 금속촉매를 이용한 새로운 bioactive scaffold의 합성방법 개발
2. 천연물 및 신규 화합물 합성 및 그 합성법 연구
3. 이와 더불어 치매, 아토피등 난치성 질환 치료제 개발 연구를 수행하고 있다.
교육철학
