교수소개

Joo Beom Eom is a Assistant Professor at Department of Biomedical Science, College of Medinice, Dankook University. His MS and PhD degrees in information and communications from Gwangju Institute Science and Technology in 2002 and 2011, respectively. He is the author of 18 journal papers and has more than 50 patents. His current research interests include optical coherence tomography, photoacoustic imaging, spectroscopy, and terahertz imaging and spectroscopy.

His current field of research is the application of cardiovascular, ophthalmology and dermatology using optical coherence tomography, as well as the study of digital microscopes to obtain wide filed images as well as research on Imgae guided surgery using fluorescence imaging. In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, we are also conducting research on the application of AI related images and terahertz. Most of image and signal acquisition researches are based on optical fiber
