Introduction
Prof. Choi Young-cheol received his MA and Ph.D. in Korean Language and Literature from Kukmin University and also holds a BA and MA in Japanese Language and Literature. Through this education he has been able to introduce new studies regarding honorific system, word order, Onomatopoeia, mimetic words comparing the Korean and Japanese languages. His current research focuses further on resemblances and differences between Korean and Japanese.
