Visiting Student Program

International students attending to universities or higher educational institutions that are not in partnerhips with Dankook University are also welcome to spend a semester or a full academic year through the visiting student program.

Application Qualifications

  • Students who have attended as a full-time student at a foreign university for more than 1 semester
  • Student who is evaluated to be eligible after being recommended by the sister university
  • Student who is able to pay above the certain level of expense (Tuition and System expenses)
  • Student who does NOT have any disqualification in obtaining a Korean Visa
  • Course registration may be limited to other students if schools/departments within the university requests prior registration for students in that school/department (School of law, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy)

  • 1 Copy of the Passport
  • 1 Certificate of Enrollment
  • 1 Official Transcript
  • 1 Study Plan
  • 1 Recommendation letter from Home University

Applying Season and Process

  • Spring : November: Application Deadline → January: Announce candidates who are accepted → February: Enrollment and Course Registration
  • Fall : May: Application Deadline → July: Announce candidates who are accepted → August: Enrollment and Course Registration

Application Documents and Advisors

  • Complete application and prepare various required documents
  • After scanning all submitted documents, email them to the Dankook University (junyoung@dankook.ac.kr)
  • Mail the original copy of the documents to the address below

Credit Registration and Tuition Guidelines (As of 2014)

  • Students can register for minimum of 9 credits and maximum of 19 credits each semester
  • Fixed tuition range per credit: 200,000 ~280,000won/credit
