Our program is focused on research of new organic polymer properties such as polymer electronic material and life science polymer material based on polymer chemistry, polymer physics and polymer processing. New polymer properties is a part of the specialization program at Dankook University that leverages industry-academia partnerships to foster creative and pragmatic experts in the field. We also have strong and active partnerships with the graduate school program, the department's institute of material & chemical testing and the Center for Photofunctional Energy Materials, a research center designated by Gyeonggi Province as a regional collaborative R&D center.
Being a materials industry, learning from our program can be applied to various fields such as electronics, semiconductors, construction, automotive & aerospace industries, life science polymer, the environment and clean industries. In particular, the sudden surge in demand for semiconductor raw material, polymer batteries and high-tech electronics material using conductive polymer translates into more career opportunities for our graduates in diverse industries.
