Congrats on DKU’s Success in National Exams

Dankook turned out successful candidates in national exams, 1 in the bar exam, 1 in the civil service exam and 4 in the patent attorney exam, respectively.

Building a structured supporting system helps students pass the national exams while they are in college.

DKU is overjoyed at hearing the news of DKU students’ success in national exams including the bar exam and civil service exam.

Ms. Hanna Dong, a law graduate of Dankook passed the 57th National Bar Exam in 2015. The second-round of the bar exam administered by the Ministry of Justice was taken by 712 applicants this year and 152 passed the exam, recording a competition ratio of 1.46:1.



According to the announcement by the Ministry of Personnel Management on October 17, Mr. Jooyoung Jang, a senior majoring in public administration passed this year’s national civil service exam.

Also, DKU turned out 4 successful candidates who passed the 52nd patent attorney examination administered by Human Resources Development Service of Korea. The successful candidates are Ms. Yeomyung Lee, a senior in molecular biology, Mr. Taekyu Lee, a senior in information and statistics, Mr. Soojun Ha, a senior in electronic engineering and Ms. Ko Choi, a graduate in chemistry. The total number of applicants in the second-round of the 52nd patent attorney examination was 1131 for 216 positions, recording a competition ratio of 19.3:1.

DKU has established an affiliated academy under its Human Resources Development Center for students and graduates who prepare national examinations. The university assigned a full-time academic advisor to make a constant effort to build a structured supporting system for students to concentrate on their preparations.
