Bizentro Co., LTD donated 50 copies of its ERP software ‘UNIERP 5.5,’ which is worth 200 million KRW, to Dankook University.
A dedication ceremony was held on July 3rd at the Jukjeon campus with DKU Vice President for External Affairs Daeshik Kang, Dean Seungcheol Yoon of the College of Business, professor Seung-heui Sohn, Bizentro CEO Hong-keun Kim and the company’s Vice President Cheolhwan Bae attending.
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), a system that integrates and manages all business activities that take place across the business enterprise starting from production and logistics to accounting and sales, is widely introduced by companies aiming to maximize productivity. Universities are also opening ERP courses mostly in business and economics departments as demand for ERP specialists increases from corporations.
The donation is expected to contribute to sharpening the competitive edge of Dankook University’s School of Business. Providing hands-on practice to the ‘Enterprise Resource Management’ course in the business administration program will enable more systematic and professional education for students.
