The most finalists in the nation again following 2016, when 19 successful applicants were from the College of Law.

The College of Law provides support for students preparing for exams such as scholarships and special lectures.

Twenty Dankook University students and alumni made the final list of successful applicants for the National Court Administration’s ‘2018 open recruit for level 9 (entry level) court officials,’ the most successful applicants from a single university in Korea.

This is the second time Dankook set the record after generating the most successful applicants from a single university in 2016, with 19 making the final list.

The successful applicants are Suhwan Kim (College of Law, entered in ‘97), Taehwan Oh (College of Law, entered in ‘04), Boyoon Lee (College of Law, entered in ‘05), Seungmo Kwon (College of Law, entered in ‘09), Heon Roh (College of Law, entered in ‘09), Yoonhee Park (College of Law, entered in ‘09), Joonhyeon Lee (College of Law, entered in ‘09), Hyundo Hwang (College of Law, entered in ‘09), Saeun Chang (College of Law, entered in ‘10), Soyoung Cho (College of Law, entered in ‘11), Euihyun Choi (College of Law, entered in  ‘11), Minjeong Kim (College of Law, entered in ‘12), Heewon Kang (College of Law, entered in ‘12), Kunhee Jin (College of Law, entered in ‘12), Minji Kang (College of Law, entered in ‘13), Jieun Park (College of Law, entered in ‘14), Haein Park (College of Law, entered in ‘14), Yoojin Shin (College of Law, entered in ‘14), Rankyung Kim (College of Law, entered in ‘12), and Sieun Kim (Dept. of Business Administration, entered in ‘13). Among the 20 finalists this year, 19 are from the College of Law.

The College of Law’s special class for national entrance exams, which previously helped more than 160 students pass the Korean bar exam, was renewed last year to focus on students preparing for government exams for administrative public servants and court officials.

The class and services offered by the College of Law supports students preparing for level 9 and level 5 court official positions, level 7 public officer positions (employment and labor, election administration, correctional officers, protection division officials, prosecution services, and immigrations services) and certified public labor attorneys with scholarships, special lectures and a variety of other complementary programs. Additional support is offered by securing exclusive seats for students in the national entrance exam preparation class and offering the use of the student dormitories in order to create an environment conducive to effective studying.
