Introduction

Hong Chong Cho, professor in the department of economics, received a B.A. and M.A. in economics from the Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea, and his Ph.D. From the University of Pennsylvania. His research is focused on the heterogeneous modelling in the quantitative macroeconomics and energy markets, especially in analyzing market structure and economic effects. Since he has taught at Dankook University in 2011, he has done many research on Korean energy system and energy market structure. He is also a member of national energy committee and works for a member of electricity production cost evaluation as well as clean hydrogen portfolio standards auction committee. He is currently participate in the national long-term planning of electricity supply and demand and long-term planning WG of natural gas supply and demand.
